Description
DECORRA decorative room divider made of aluminium for stretch ceilings with a harpoon fastening system for PVC membranes. The room divider is assembled from a niche and slats and runs from the ceiling to the floor.
The niche is fixed to the structural ceiling, and the membrane is inserted into it with the harpoon. The slats are inserted into the niche from above and lowered onto supports on the floor. The slats are cut to the room height on site.
The niche can be installed with or without lighting. For lighting, an LED strip is glued into the niche, and the light diffuser covers the strip and diffuses its light. The light diffuser is removable, so the strip can be replaced. The slats can be removed without additional tools.

Installation
Fastening
The niche is fixed to the structural ceiling with ANGLOVA Y401 mounting brackets and screws. The distance from the structural ceiling to the stretch ceiling level is at least 65 mm, and from the niche to the structural ceiling at least 20 mm. The distance from the niche to the wall depends on the wall profile.
LED strip
Before the niche is installed, a 6 mm hole for the cable is drilled in it, and the LED strip is glued along the perimeter of the niche. The strip is connected after the niche is fixed. The light diffuser covers the strip and can be removed if the strip needs to be replaced.
Fastening
The visible part of the niche is projected onto the floor, and the template from the kit is positioned along the projection. The template is fixed to the floor with masking tape, and the supports are glued along the template. If necessary, the supports are additionally fixed with screws and dowels. The template is then removed.
Ceiling insertion
The harpoon is glued to the membrane 10 mm from the edge of the niche, and the excess material is trimmed. In the corner of the niche, the membrane is cut diagonally 5 mm from the corner. The harpoon is inserted into the niche with a standard straight spatula with a working edge at least 35 mm long and angled at 70–90°, and the membrane is glued in the corner. The protective film is then removed from the light diffuser, and the diffuser is put back in place.
Fastening
The slat length equals the distance from the floor to the black insert in the niche plus 7 mm. After cutting, burrs are removed from the slat ends. The slat is inserted into the upper cell of the niche and lowered onto the support. The slats can be removed without additional tools.
