Reinforced aluminium floating-ceiling profile for stretch ceilings with a harpoon fastening system for the PVC membrane. An integrated structural aluminium reinforcing section gives the assembly high rigidity and allows the profile to be fixed directly to the structural ceiling where wall mounting is impossible or undesirable.

Reverse harpoon insertion completely conceals the membrane fastening. With the lighting switched off, the profile creates a pronounced 15 mm shadow gap. When the LED strip is switched on, the gap becomes an evenly illuminated perimeter, producing a floating-ceiling effect. The lighting can be used for decorative, night-time, or supplementary room lighting.

The profile accommodates an LED strip and a light-diffusing insert, providing soft, even light distribution without visible LED dots. The reinforced aluminium section increases structural rigidity, enables secure ceiling mounting, and maintains stable profile geometry in highly loaded areas.

The profile is recommended for rooms with porcelain-tiled surfaces, glass, mirrors, concealed building services, and other finishes where wall installation is difficult. Compatible with the INSERTA Y015 F light-diffusing insert.
